What is Autogas.
Autogas is the name applied to Liquid Petroleum Gas when used as a vehicle fuel although the same gas is also used as an alternative for cooking and central heating systems, especially in rural areas.
The gas is stored under pressure in purpose built tanks in a liquid state but becomes gaseous at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.

 Being in a liquid state under low pressure gives Autogas an advantage over natural gas which only turns to liquid at extremely low temperatures therefore, with Autogas more fuel may be stored for the same weight and volume than natural gas.
